Task Force 6150 Has Returned—Thank You! To all volunteer firefighters, their employers, and especially their families—thank you. Your selflessness and sacrifice do not go unnoticed, especially during these devastating fires in the Los Angeles area. You drop everything—birthdays, anniversaries, vacations—answering the call to protect lives, homes, and communities. Without the unwavering support from employers and families, these brave men and women wouldn’t be able to do what they do. In my 14 years of service, I have never seen such a critical demand for the volunteer system as I have in the past 10 months as Chief. I’ve been asked about deploying two task forces from Inyo and Mono Counties, and I can tell you—no Fire Chief makes that decision lightly. Our communities always come first. As this year continues, we anticipate another busy season and may once again ask for your support as businesses and families. Your commitment makes all the difference. Included with this message are hea...
