Board of Supervisors to Meet in Tecopa Members of the Board of Supervisors are making their annual spring pilgrimage to Southeast Inyo County next week for a special meeting in Tecopa. The Board will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6 in the Tecopa Community Center, 400 Tecopa Hot Springs Rd. The meeting is an opportunity for supervisors to meet face-to-face with constituents from Inyo County’s farthest-flung communities. Items on the agenda include department head reports and updates from personnel with Death Valley National Park, the Southern Inyo Fire Protection District, and representatives of the Amargosa Conservancy and Friends of the Amargosa Basin. Yesterday, the BUHS Girls and Boys Track & Field teams competed against California City High School, with Mojave High School also in attendance. It was a windy day in Cal City, with gusts reaching up to 30 mph.
