Today a strong ridge of high pressure will build in over the Great Basin and Intermountain West. So temps should take a big jump tomorrow to above well normal thru Saturday in the Owens Valley. To compound the daytime heat, overnight lows won't provide much relief. Be sure to drink plenty of water and reduce strenuous outdoor activity if possible...DMATT
