Last week on Thursday the Broncos clinched the High Desert League championship with a 5-0 win over the Desert Scorpions. The Broncos ended the first half with a narrow lead 1-0. The Broncos finished strong in the second half winning the game comfortably 5-0.

In the first half senior Katya Fierro scored the first goal of the game with a beautiful through ball from Maleah DeVincent. In the second half Taylor Derr scored from a beautiful, unassisted corner. Payton Hohenstein scored the third goal in the second half with a Taylor Derr cross and Payton sent it to the back of the net. Leah Taylor scored the fourth goal of the game with Taylor Derr sending her a wonderful through ball. Kylie Acree scored the last goal for the Broncos from a nice cross from Jessica Santana.

Taylor Derr led the game with the most assists.

Broncos will be traveling to Cal City next Tuesday February 10th for their last league game before playoffs begin. The Broncos have their first playoff game Friday February 13th. The bracket will be published on Wednesday.
