Table Talk...Power Lunch
Next Tuesday, February 24 from 12–1:30pm, we’re back at Harmony Brazilian Restaurant for our first Power Lunch of the year — and last time we were there, it sold out. Because table talk matters. We’ll cover SBDC (Small Business Development Center) resources, how AI can analyze menu performance to improve margins, and how crowdfunding can fund your next idea. Good conversation, practical takeaways, and yes — great food. Register now to save your seat. >>> Click here to register
Resilience. Real Conversation.
Our next Women in Business is designed to hold space for shared experiences. On Tuesday, March 3 from 5–7pm at Noodle-Ly, Andrea Walker (Stellar Brew Café) and Elizabeth McGuire (East Side Bakeshop) will reflect on being business owners and mothers who were personally impacted by the McGee Creek Pack Fire. Brianna Goico will guide the discussion, followed by open conversation in the trusted circle Women in Business is known for. Seating is limited. Please register to be part of the evening. >>> Click here to register

Time to Cut the Red Tape
The Building an Affordable California Act (BACA) is a priority across California — and you’ll be hearing more about it throughout the year. The measure seeks to modernize the state’s broken approval process that impacts essential projects. BACA proposes a more efficient path forward for housing, clean energy, water systems, roads, hospitals, schools, wildfire prevention and broadband. Visit the campaign website to review the proposal and what it could mean for communities statewide. >>> Click here for the campaign website

Improved Flight Reliability
Mammoth Yosemite Airport now has a new instrument approach procedure that improves reliability and safety during poor weather. Aircraft can land with lower cloud ceilings and reduced visibility, and the new alignment brings planes directly onto the runway centerline. Implemented in partnership with the FAA and aviation consultants — at no cost to the Town — this satellite-based technology strengthens the local economy and enhances medical transport capabilities. >>> Click here to read the full press release
