If you’ve been following Sierra Wave Media and Laughing Parrot Productions, you may have noticed a little quiet lately — and a lot of curiosity building. The question we keep hearing is simple: What’s next? Closely followed by: What happened to Skippable News? And the most persistent one of all: Why aren’t you telling us yet?


Fair questions. And we get the excitement.


First, about Skippable News. It was a blast to create and was built specifically for YouTube, designed so viewers could jump straight to the segments they cared about most. Over time, though, our audience expanded well beyond that platform, and the format no longer fit where we’re headed. After four great years, Skippable News did what it was meant to do — and it was time to grow into what comes next.


Behind the scenes, Sierra Wave Media and Laughing Parrot Productions have been developing a project that builds on everything we’ve learned — storytelling that moves faster, connects deeper, and feels more relevant to the moment we’re living in. It’s bigger in scope, sharper in vision, and designed with you in mind from the ground up.


Which brings us to the question we hear most:


“Why aren’t you telling us yet?”


The honest answer is simple — because it isn’t ready to be revealed. Good ideas deserve the time to be built properly. We’d rather share something fully formed than tease something half-finished. What we can say is that the direction we’re heading is intentional, ambitious, and worth the wait.


In the meantime, we continue to do interviews and publish them on our platforms. Well, all of them but YouTube :) Except the fish report.
