Flat ridging remains in place today thru the weekend, with a couple of weak waves passing overhead Saturday and another Monday. All this will do is pause our warming trend temporarily. But after Monday high pressure shifts into the Western States. So plan on some significant early June heat, with temps some 10+ degress above normal by Wednesday. How warm will it be Wednesday in Bishop, 100°, in Mammoth lakes near 80° and Death Valley 118°. I'll have more temperature updates in Monday's forecast.
