The large-scale pattern promotes a gradual weather change, as a strong ridge moves Westward, from Texas to a position over Four Corners. Building 500 mb heights will bring on a warm up to 5 degrees above normal in Bishop by Thursday. Also, with the movement of that ridge, a weak slug of Monsoonal moisture will make its way into Inyo and Mono County Friday and Saturday, for a chance of showers & thunderstorms, particularly over higher terrain. Keep in mind that cloud cover / moisture could moderate forecast temperatures...DMATT
