NWS Extreme Heat Watch for this Week - Plan Before You Travel or Head Out for that Hike
Key Points:

- Temperatures will increase to 6 to 8 degrees above-normal mid-to-late week.


- Wednesday & Thursday... Widespread Moderate HeatRisk. Major HeatRisk across southern San Bernardino County, southern Mohave County, and the Colorado River Valley, with pockets of Extreme HeatRisk.


- Extreme Heat Watch in effect for southern San Bernardino County, southern Mohave County, and the Colorado River Valley including Lake Mead National Recreation Area Wednesday & Thursday.
